Manchester United ready to show their hand for Arsenal and Tottenham target Alvaro Morata
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to muscle in on Arsenal and Tottenham target Alvaro Morata in the summer.
Recent reports indicated Arsenal were in the driving seat although they were informed they would have to pay north of £25 million to clinch his signature.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a loan move for Morata in January although they failed to act upon their interest.
But according to Spanish paper Marca, Manchester United have cast an admiring glance and they are willing to make a bid.
With Javier Hernandez tipped to leave Old Trafford in the summer, David Moyes may have to splash the cash to bolster his firepower.
However, it will be intriguing to see whether Morata would be willing to swap the bright lights of the Bernebeu for United, who could be playing Europa League football next season.
Morata's present deal runs out in June 2015.
