Tottenham set to appeal Younes Kaboul red card at Chelsea
TOTTENHAM are set to appeal referee Michael Oliver's decision to show Younes Kaboul a red card in Sunday's 4-0 defeat at Chelsea.
The centre-back was sent off just before the hour mark when the hosts were just 1-0 up.
Kaboul was adjudged to have tripped Blues forward Samuel Eto'o in the box and Eden Hazard converted the penalty cooly down the middle.
However, replays suggest that the official's punishment, which carries a three-game ban, was harsh on the Londoners.
It is understood that Spurs intend to challenge the decision as they continue to push for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
