Leicester 2 - Huddersfield 1: Anthony Gerrard is nod forsaken
ANTHONY GERRARD isn’t the only member of his family who can get on the scoresheet.
At the end of one of the best weeks in Steven’s glittering career, his cousin Anthony was also on target.
The problem was it was at the wrong end of the field as the Huddersfield defender headed Anthony Knockaert’s corner past his own keeper to put Leicester 2-0 up. Jamie Vardy had earlier scored a cracking 11th-minute goal to put the Foxes ahead.
Huddersfield pulled one back when Sean Scannell’s shot clipped Paul Konchesky’s heel on the way into the net after 67 minutes.
But hopes of a leveller went when main threat James Vaughan was sent off seven minutes from time for pushing Marcin Wasilewskie.
