Nottingham Forest 1 - Huddersfield 0: Chris Cohen leads from front
CHRIS COHEN proved why Billy Davies handed him the captain’s armband with an all-action display to get Forest out of an almighty hole.
For 52 minutes the Reds struggled to break down a rearguard Huddersfield side. But then up popped man-of-the-match Cohen, who laid the ball on a plate for Henri Lansbury to finally break the deadlock.
Forest are highly fancied as promotion contenders. And boss Billy Davies said: “It was an inspired performance by Chris Cohen, it was a tremendous run and it was a terrific performance. He leads by an example and is a fantastic captain.” Town manager Mark Robins said: “There were positives – we worked our socks off against a very good side.”
