Juventus cast an admiring glance at Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov
MANCHESTER CITY left-back Aleksandar Kolarov has emerged a shock transfer target for Juventus.
The Serie A champions are looking to make some big summer acquisitions to help them launch a serious assault on the Champions League next season and are looking to tighten up defensively too.
Roberto Mancini alternated between Kolarov and Gael Clichy last season and Kolarov hasn't hidden his desire to leave.
And now it seems the Bianconeri could provide him with an escape route out of the Etihad.
Italian paper Corriere dello Sport claims Antonio Conte is planning on implementing a different style of play for the Serie A champions, who habitually play in a 3-5-2 formation.
They also suggest that Conte is an admirer of Kolarov, and feels that the Serbian could slot into his new system.
Kolarov is well known to Serie A fans, having previously spent three years at Lazio.
