Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann's agent casts doubt over client's future
ASTON VILLA striker Andreas Weimann's agent has raised the spectre of a Villa Park departure for his client this summer.
Weimann was a target for Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs in recent months but interest appears to have cooled.
The Austrian's strike partner Christian Benteke has also garnered interest from a cluster of Premier League clubs, but manager Paul Lambert has placed at least a £30m price tag on him to deter potential suitors.
But Weimann's agent, Rob Greener, has been coy about his client's future.
"Andi will stay in the Premier League but at which club I don't know," Greener told a British paper.
"There are offers but we'll first meet Villa."
Weimann, who is entering the final year of his contract, has hit 12 goals so far in all competitions this campaign.
