Juventus ready to scupper Manchester City in chase for Edinson Cavani
JUVENTUS could deal a setback to Manchester City's hopes of landing Edinson Cavani in the summer.
Cavani is the one of the most sought-after forwards in the European game with a whole host of European clubs clamouring for his signature.
Roberto Mancini has had his eye on Cavani for a while, as he seeks to boost his attacking options.
But Juve it seems have other ideas, with club director Pavel Nedved.
He told Italian paper Undici: ""I like Cavani very much. He is a striker who does not only score goals, but always helps the team too.
"He's a golden boy and he's right in the head. He would be a perfect player for Juventus."
Cavani has smashed 25 goals so far this campaign.
