Manchester United given knock back by Juve transfer target Claudio Marchisio
MANCHESTER UNITED appear poised to be knocked back by Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio.
United have been keeping tabs on Marchisio, as they are looking to add more creativity and flair to their midfield.
Although they have also been monitoring Porto's James Rodriguez, Marchisio is deemed to be a player that could provide that bit of extra quality.
But Marchisio appears to have other ideas and is more open to a move to the Bundesliga.
"Where would I go then? I would prefer the Bundesliga than the Premier League," Marchisio told Italian paper Gazettta dello Sport.
"I love German football, they have wonderful modern stadiums and they are always full and I greatly admire the mentality of fans who do not leave the stadium early even if their side is four goals behind."
Marchisio has become an integral part of the Juventus team, who are six points clear at the top of Serie A.
He has also chipped in with six goals so far this season.
