Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez's fully focused on Sparta Prague tie
CHELSEA boss Rafa Benitez maintains he is fully focused on his side's Europa League game with Sparta Prague.
The Blues carry a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their last-32 tie at Stamford Bridge thanks to Oscar's strike.
Benitez is keen to do well in the competition after the Blues were knocked out of the group stages of the Champions League.
Moreover, the game will give them confidence going into the Sunday's Premier League showdown with Manchester City.
He told reporters at his Europa League news conference: "Usually the manager has to keep an eye on everything if he can but the priority will obviously be this game.
"At the moment the Europa League is the priority because we will play against them tomorrow. One game at a time, and this is the most important game we have to play.
"I think it's an important competition for us and after we'll have a massive game at Manchester City. Obviously if we beat them we will be closer, if not we have to carry on."
Benitez has decided to rest Frank Lampard to keep him fit for Sunday's game.
The 34-year-old is on course to break Bobby Tambling's all-time record of 202 goals for the club.
