Billy McKay is set to stay at Caley Thistle
TERRY BUTCHER has given Inverness a League Cup semi-final boost by opening talks with top scorer Billy McKay over a new contract.
The 24-year-old, who will be looking to help Inverness into their first senior cup final with a League Cup semi win over Hearts on Saturday, has one year left on his contract, but Butcher wants to extend that agreement. He said: “Billy is marvellous and I think he would add another year if we offered it.

“We always knew he could score goals, but he has become more clinical and ruthless.”
Butcher ruled out a move for Barry Robson, who has been released by Vancouver Whitecaps.
