FIFA back Scotland's Euro plan
FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce has thrown his support behind Scotland’s Euro 2020 bid.
UEFA president Michel Platini has proposed a 13-city idea to host the Euro Finals in eight years’ time.
SFA chiefs are keen for Glasgow to be one of those cities, if the idea gets the go ahead.
The SFA may also make a bid for a future Euro finals jointly with Ireland and Wales.
And Boyce believes the SFA should push ahead with both options.
Boyce said: “If Michel Platini’s suggestions come to fruition then Scotland may be interested in hosting a game, especially one of the semi-finals.
“When you look at the marvellous facilities at Hampden, I think it would be an ideal venue to have one.
It hasn’t been fully discussed at UEFA, so it needs to be looked at carefully

“It’s a unique idea, it would be a one-off and I would be very interested to see if it happened.
“I’ve also noticed Scotland, Wales and Ireland are looking at bidding for a Euro Finals – it’s something that would be very good for all countries.”
Boyce believes a Euro bid involving Scotland, Ireland and Wales does have merit.
He said: “Well, there has to be a good chance when you look at Poland and Ukraine hosting this year.
“We also had the 2000 Finals in Belgium and Holland.”
