According to the Metro, Benitez will also look to offload senior players Florent Malouda, Paulo Ferreira and Hilario.
Decisions regarding contract renewals for Blues stars Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are yet to be made.
The Blues are also linked with a move for deadly Atletico Madrid hitman Radamel Falcao.
The Columbian hitman, who is a target for Manchester City also, would cost over £40m.
Chelsea spent in excess of £80m in the previous transfer window.
