Injury crisis for Swans
SWANSEA have a major injury crisis ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Everton – and it could stretch to as many as nine players.
Midfielder Kemy Agustien’s calf injury sees him join Garry Monk, Neil Taylor, Kyle Bartley and the suspended Chico Flores on the sidelines.
But further absentees could follow with Jonathan de Guzman, Ashley Williams and Danny Graham all set to have fitness tests today, while Leon Britton is also battling flu.
Swans manager Michael Laudrup said: “We’ve had a few setbacks with injuries and some of our regular starters have not been able to train. Ashley, Jonathan and Danny have had problems with their ankles while Leon has been sick for a couple of days.
"Football is a contact sport and this is what happens. I hope they will all be available, but we will see how they are and make a final decision about all of them.”
If they all fail to recover, Jazz Richards, Ki Sung-Yueng, Mark Gower and Luke Moore – who have played just 45 Premier-League minutes between them this season – are expected to deputise.

Laudrup also confirmed that goalkeeper Michel Vorm is on the verge of signing a new four-year deal with the club.
