Huddersfield 1 - Derby 0: Adam Hammill’s perfect start
ADAM HAMMILL took just 47 seconds to prove he could be an inspired signing by Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson.
The on-loan Wolves winger has struggled to make the grade since playing for Barnsley two years ago.
But his inch-perfect cross on his first Huddersfield start led to Danny Ward’s flicked finish to give the improving Terriers another win.
Grayson said: “I would have thought there is room to manoeuvre a deal for Adam.
“He’s out of favour at Wolves. I was delighted to get him.”
Derby manager Nigel Clough admitted: “It was the worst possible start and set us back a little bit.
“That goal gave them a massive lift and we did not get going until the second half.”
