Michael Laudrup warns record signing Pablo Hernandez of competition for Swansea place
MICHAEL LAUDRUP has told Swansea’s club-record signing Pablo Hernandez to wait his turn for a first Premier League start.
Spain international Hernandez, 27, joined in a £5.55m deal from Valencia on deadline day and is in the squad to face Aston Villa tomorrow.
But Laudrup insists that Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge deserve their places, so he must be patient.
He said: “Nathan and Wayne have started in great form. Now Pablo is here, we have three fantastic players for two positions .
“It is not a question of whether they cost £1, £5 or £10million. You have to look at the overall picture.”
