Millwall 3 - Middlesbrough 1: The Keogh to success
STRIKER Andy Keogh scored a cracking double as Millwall destroyed sorry Middlesbrough.
Keogh scored in either half after midfielder Liam Trotter set the Lions on their way with a brilliant lobbed goal after 25 minutes.
Marvin Emnes’ first-half penalty, which cut the deficit to 2-1, proved a mere consolation for a rattled Boro.
Delighted Lions boss Kenny Jackett said: “It was a very good display against a talented Boro team. Andy Keogh will get confidence from his goals and Liam Trotter is a great vice-captain and a top player.”
Boro boss Tony Mowbray said: “It was a bad day at the office. We did have shots but Maik Taylor had a comfortable afternoon.
“We just need to settle and get that consistency in defence.”
