Fulham sign Dimitar Berbatov on a two year deal
IT seems Sir Alex Ferguson was pulling our legs when he said Dimitar Berbatov could be heading to Tottenham as the striker completed a move to Fulham today.
The Cottagers have confirmed the signing of Berbatov from Manchester United on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Earlier today, Sir Alex Ferguson hinted that the move to Fulham might not go through, he said: "I wouldn't be surprised if he was at Tottenham. There are rumours going around. I do not think it is settled at Fulham."
But Martin Jol was always confident he would clinch Berbatov.
