Tottenham v Manchester United Live: Wayne Rooney fit for champions
TOTTENHAM manager Harry Redknapp is confident Gareth Bale will be fit despite missing the Gary Speed memorial match between Wales and Costa Rica after noticing a tightness in his hamstring in training during the week. Right-back Kyle Walker is fit despite suffering an ankle injury in the 5-2 derby defeat against Arsenal last weekend and Redknapp is also confident that Rafael van der Vaart (calf) and Ledley King (knee) will feature. Scott Parker is suspended following his sending-off for a second bookable offence at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Chris Smalling is MANCHESTER UNITED’S main doubt after he required stitches in a head wound sustained challenging for a header while playing for England this week. Wayne Rooney has recovered from a throat infection but Antonio Valencia (hamstring), Tom Cleverley (ankle) and Michael Owen (thigh) definitely miss out.
