Southampton's Billy Sharp suffers vile abuse on Twitter over dead son
SOUTHAMPTON striker Billy Sharp has been subjected to vile abuse on Twitter over the death of his baby son.
Sharp’s son Luey Jacob died in November aged just two days when the player was still at Doncaster Rovers.
A Twitter user calling himself ChrisDRFCBoyd posted four abusive messages on the player’s own site billysharp10.
One read: “glad your son died and hope your legs get broken.” Another repeated the word ‘dead’ in capitals 21 times.
Sharp responded to his tormentor yesterday morning by Tweeting “shallow little boy hope ur proud of urself”.
The ChrisDRFCBoyd account was subsequently deleted.
