AC Milan's deal for Carlos Tevez in limbo
CARLOS TEVEZ'S AC Milan have suffered a blow after the Italian club pulled out of talks over a transfer.
Milan were the frontrunners to sign Argentina striker Tevez, 27, who has been in his homeland for the past two months after falling out with his club Manchester City.
But talks between AC’s chief executive Adriano Galliani, City and Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian in London were called off after Milan striker Alexandre Pato pulled out of a£29million move to Paris St-Germain.
City have insisted throughout that Tevez would only be allowed to leave in a deal that guarantees him a permanent move in the summer.
They remain comfortable with the situation and there is a willingness on all sides for Tevez to leave this month.
Tevez has made just five appearances for City this season and has not played for Roberto Mancini’s side since September 21.
