CHRIS POWELL paid tribute to his match-day squad after watching Charlton thump Hartlepool 4-0.
A Bradley Wright-Phillips brace plus goals from Danny Hollands and Scott Wagstaff maintained Charlton’s three-point lead at the top of the table.
Powell said: “Bradley will get the headlines, but the plaudits should go to all 16 players . We passed the ball well and showed we can defend. ”
MK Dons won 2-0 at 10-man Walsall, Dean Lewington and Jabo Ibehre scoring after goalkeeper James Walker had been sent off .
Dons manager Karl Robinson said: “It’s a win. We’ve played great on occasions and got nothing out of games .”
Anton Robinson scored the only goal as rock-bottom Yeovil lost to Huddersfield .
Glovers’ boss Terry Skiverton said: “ We hit the bar twice. We need to see them going in.”
Wycombe’s 15-year-old striker Jordan Ibe was booked after celebrating his first senior goal with his family in the 2-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday.
