Casemiro keeps his personal trophies and some replicas of the team prizes he has won throughout his career on a cabinet inside his home. His wife was keen to remind fans what her husband had achieved throughout his career.
But his old trophies are unlikely to help United in the present day, and United have now earned just three points from their first three Premier League games this season. Casemiro was slated by Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Gary Neville during and after the game.
“Casemiro, for a player of such experience, the amount of times he gives the ball away in bad areas,” Neville said as he watched a replay of Liverpool's first goal, headed home by Diaz after Casemiro's loose pass in midfield found Ryan Gravenberch.

After Casemiro was dispossessed in the build-up to Liverpool’s second goal, former Reds defender Carragher observed: “Two Casemiro mistakes, two Diaz goals.”
He added of the 32-year-old’s errors: “A poor pass can happen any time, but the second one, getting knocked over, he looks shattered as he's falling over.”
Neville concluded: “I have to say he's lost his confidence a little bit. For Casemiro, someone who has won Champions Leagues with Real Madrid, it can happen to you in games.”
