Celtic's Green Brigade sign 'code of conduct' to return to ground after Palestine row
Celtic's Green Brigade return to Parkhead this weekend.
Celtic's ultra group, the Green Brigade, have signed a code of conduct to allow them back into Parkhead after being shut out of the famous ground for over two months due to "poor behaviour".
In November, an email was sent to supporters in the standing section at Celtic Park from the club explaining that season tickets for those registered as members of the ultras group had been suspended.
Celtic cited "repeated incidents of unacceptable conduct involving the 'Green Brigade' group" as the reason for their decision. Green Brigade members had already been banned from receiving tickets for away games before the club's announcement.
At the time, the Green Brigade alleged that the club had enforced the ban to "quash political expression" following a series of pro-Palestine demonstrations put on by the ultras group. Yet club officials affirmed restrictions were put in place after a string of unsavoury actions from members of the group.

This includes GB members reportedly breaking into Parkhead through fire doors during Celtic's European tie with Lazio, as well as threatening behaviour towards club employees. Celtic had already been fined by UEFA in September after their fans set off flares during a 2-0 loss against Feyenoord.
At the back end of November, they received further sanctions from the European football association when their fans waved Palestinian flags during a UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.

However, according to the Daily Record, Celtic's ultras have been given the green light to return to the Hoops standing section for Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash with Livingston. The Scottish newspaper claims that members of the Green Brigade and Celtic recently held productive talks to smooth over their troubled relationship.
GB Leaders are understood to have signed a code of conduct drawn up by the club to ensure that their behaviour doesn't get too rowdy. A spokesperson for Celtic said: "Following consultation with the group, the club has now implemented an updated Rail Seating Safety Code of Conduct which has been accepted by the group, allowing for a return to a situation where rules and regulations around operating safely are respected and complied with".
