The English transfer window may have slammed shut on Friday, but there are still plenty of ongoings worldwide, including Premier League exits. And question marks over Jadon Sancho and Mohamed Salah's futures may set up major stories this month.
Jordan Henderson has jokingly claimed Liverpool should have done all they could to sign Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham moved to Real Madrid earlier this summer after the Reds pulled out of a move.
The midfielder has started life at the Bernabeu on fire and Henderson joked Liverpool should have done more to get him.
He told The Athletic: "Looking back now, he’s on fire so I might have thought we should have just paid the money!
"But in the end they have a structure, they have a plan and if it doesn't fall within that then they’re not going to change for it. Because it has a knock-on effect."
Salah is linked with a mega-money move to the Saudi Pro League before Thursday's transfer deadline.
Henderson told The Athletic: "I haven’t spoken to him about the [transfer] situation.
"Obviously I spoke to him briefly over the past week or two in terms of he was asking if I was ok, everything was all right, how I’m settling in, the normal sort of stuff.
"I’ve sort of left him with this. "He’ll have everybody ringing him and texting him and things like that. So I’ve sort of left him to… I don’t really know exactly what’s going on."

Trevoh Chalobah may still leave Chelsea for Bayern Munich after his deadline-day move failed to materialise.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Blues defender could join Bayern in January.
In a column on SPTC, he wrote: "Trevoh Chalobah wanted the move to Bayern, but the German window closed a few hours earlier on September 1 and no agreement was reached.
"Bayern preferred a loan. Chalobah could have gone to Nottingham Forest but wasn’t keen.
"I don’t see him getting many Chelsea minutes, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Bayern come back in with a loan offer in January.”
Barcelona No 10 Ansu Fati has spoken out for the first time since his shock loan move to Brighton.
The young Spanish winger has cited Roberto De Zerbi as a key factor to his decision to snub Tottenham for the Seagulls.
He told club media: "I spoke to the coach Roberto De Zerbi, and he told me he has full confidence in me and what he thought about me. For me, that was a key factor.
"He was the main person who convinced me to come here with what he said, how he sees me as a player, and what I can improve upon. That was the key, I feel."

Jorginho's agent, Joao Santos, has confirmed that he will remain at Arsenal this season despite exit links.
The 31-year-old midfielder has been linked with a Fenerbahce move after Declan Rice's £105m arrival limited him to just 17 minutes in Arsenal's opening four games of the season.
But Jorginho is set to stay at the Emirates Stadium, with Thomas Partey's injury potentially opening up a route to more regular football.
"Jorginho is focused on Arsenal. Therefore, on the Premier League championship and the Champions League. He will not go to Fenerbahce." Santos told tuttomercatoweb.
A Saudi Arabian delegation is making one last push to convince Liverpool to sell Mohamed Salah this summer, according to reports.
Saudis landed in London on Saturday as they attempt to lure Salah away from Anfield after the English transfer window closed.
According to the Mail, they believe the Liverpool icon would be open to joining Al-Ittihad this week, but the Saudi Arabian deadline falls on Thursday.
And there is a sense that they will switch targets if there is no resolution by the end of play today.

Manchester United figures are debating whether Jadon Sancho will play for the club again, according to reports.
Sancho soured Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal further by publicly speaking out against Erik ten Hag's reasoning for his exclusion from the travelling squad.
And The Times claim it hasn't gone down well at Old Trafford, leaving his future up in the air.
Sancho and Ten Hag are unlikely to privately discuss the rift imminently while they both have a few days off at the start of the international break.
