Football Digest: Arsenal v Man Utd preview
Manchester United have a busy transfer deadline day in store as Erik ten Hag scrambles to complete two final additions before 11pm. The Dutchman has recruited four new players this summer but is reportedly desperate to sign a left-back and midfielder before the window slams shut.
Ten Hag has added Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and Altay Bayindir to his ranks for a combined £183million.
But he wants to further bolster his squad after a shaky start to the Premier League campaign.
Express Sport runs through three outcomes that would make up United's dream transfer deadline day.
Five exits
Outgoings have been just as important as incomings for United this summer, and Ten Hag will be disappointed not to have raised more funds through player sales than initially planned.
But there are still a handful of futures to resolve before the deadline to offload deadwood in his squad and support the development of younger prospects.
Dean Henderson has sealed a £20m move to Crystal Palace - with £4m Fenerbahce goalkeeper Bayindir replacing him - and Teden Mengi is set to complete a permanent move to Luton Town.
Eric Bailly is out of Ten Hag's plans and needs a move, but could leave after the deadline if United terminate his contract.
Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellistri and Alvaro Fernandez are in talks over loan exits.

Left-back U-turn
United are searching for left-back cover, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both ruled out through injury for several weeks.
But Chelsea tarnished a potential loan swoop for Marc Cucurella by fielding him in Wednesday's Carabao Cup second-round clash against AFC Wimbledon.
It means United wouldn't be able to send Cucurella back in January if Shaw and Malacia are both back because it would class as him playing for three clubs, which is prohibited.
So the Red Devils must opt for an alternative option like Sergio Reguilon or Nicolas Tagliafico, who should also come much cheaper, funding Ten Hag's headline Deadline Day move...
The name on every United fan's lips heading into the final day of the summer transfer window is Sofyan Amrabat.
Ten Hag blatantly needs to add balance to his midfield, and United have been working on a late deal for the Fiorentina midfielder.
The Serie A club rejected an initial season-long loan offer worth £2m, but reports claim they would be willing to accept if an obligation to buy worth £23m was included.
United must sanction the deal if Ten Hag is to have any chance of building on the positive start he made at the Old Trafford helm.
