Roy Keane sinks in his chair as Micah Richards mocks Man Utd hero over TV advert
Micah Richards poked fun at Roy Keane over a TV advert involving the Man Utd icon on Sky Sports.
Chelsea V Liverpool: Pictures
An advert featuring Roy Keane as a clown left the Sky Sports panel in stitches as Micah Richards poked fun at the Manchester United legend. Keane appears at a circus in Sky's 'greatest show on earth' advert and a clip was played during the broadcaster's coverage of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Uncharacteristically, former midfield hard-man Keane appears as a clown in the amusing ad. Fellow Sky Sports pundit Richards was in no mood to let the opportunity to laugh at Keane's expense slip away.
The advert was broadcast at half-time during Chelsea's meeting with Liverpool. Screens then immediately cut to the Sky Sports panel in hysterics, with Richards and Daniel Sturridge prepared to poke fun at Keane.
“Red Nose Day has come early!” Richards exclaimed after bellowing with laughter. Keane, clearly slightly embarrassed, sunk into his chair and laughed along.
“All you need is the size 20 boots!” Richards continued, referencing Keane's appearance as a clown.

The Irishman quietly mumbled: “Are you jealous?”
Richards hit back: “What on god’s earth were you doing?”
Keane revealed that Richards was supposed to star in the advert. He told the former Manchester City defender: “You were supposed to do it. Where were you?”
Richards quipped: “I had other things going on!”
Sturridge, a new addition to Sky’s Premier League coverage this season, sarcastically added: “I love the vibes. I actually love it!”
Keane remained sheepish throughout. The 52-year-old ended the incident by gesturing with his hand and begging: "Move on! Let's move on."

Keane, Richards and Sturridge watched on as Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool. In a frantic affair at Stamford Bridge, both teams looked incomplete as they head into the final few weeks of the summer transfer window.
Luis Diaz opened the scoring midway through the first half, before Chelsea debutant Axel Disasi equalised just before half-time. Both sides had excellent opportunities to score a winner in the second half but failed to do so.
Attention could now be turned to the off-field battle to secure Moises Caicedo’s signature. Liverpool and Chelsea have both been linked with the Brighton sensation, with it clear during the game that they both need another midfielder.
