Man Utd takeover: David Beckham sends Glazers five-word message as sale delay rumbles on
David Beckham has made his Manchester United takeover stance clear to the Glazers.

David Beckham has told the Glazer family to sell Manchester United, insisting "there needs to be change" at Old Trafford. The United takeover process will soon enter its ninth month, with the fanbase, bidders and Erik ten Hag left frustrated by the continued decision delay.
Several waves of bidding after announcing they were seeking investment through a potential sale in November, the Glazers are yet to come to a solution.
Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are battling to take control at Old Trafford.
Sheikh Jassim wants a full sale and has pledged to clear United's debt through his newly-established Nine Two Foundation.
Meanwhile, Ratcliffe is eyeing a majority stake, allowing Joel and Avram Glazer to retain around 20 per cent of the club.
However, fans and seemingly the parties have been left in the dark about the Glazers' thinking, and Beckham believes it's time for change.
"I think so [the Glazers should sell up]. I think it's purely because the fans want it. Once you lose the fans, especially at a club like Manchester United, it's hard to get them back," Beckham told The Athletic.
"Obviously, they [the Glazers] have achieved a lot, and financially, the fact we're even talking about the numbers of what Manchester United will sell for shows the success they've had.
"But there needs to be change. We've all seen that. We all know that."
Beckham added that he wants five things from potential new owners if the Glazers decide to walk away from their 18-year reign.

He said: "Off the field, as a fan and ex-player, I just want it resolved. There has to be a decision [regarding the ownership].
"Whoever is running your club, you want them to be passionate, be involved, make the right decisions, bring in the right players and invest in the club.
"Because the club does need investment, whether it's the training facility, stadium, on the field… these kinds of big things need to be made, and changes do need to happen, especially when you see the likes of Man City and what they're doing."
