Man Utd takeover: Sheikh Jassim has sale belief as bidder blasts Glazers delay
Manchester United takeover: Express Sport provides all the latest news from the Glazers, Sheikh Jassim and a potential sale.
How last summer's 20 biggest transfer signings have fared
The Manchester United takeover saga has entered its eighth month, the Glazers keeping Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe waiting for their final decision. Express Sport rounds up the latest news from Old Trafford as a sale potentially creeps closer.
Sheikh Jassim's sale belief
Sheikh Jassim believes his takeover bid is what's best for the future of United, but his fate lies with the Glazers.
Fabrizio Romano has suggested the takeover saga is at a stage where there is a focus on closing a deal. And the Qatari businessman is certain his offer stands out from the rest.
"I understand Manchester United fans being tired about the story, but it is about closing the deal," Romano told GiveMeSport.
"It's on the Glazers. I think Sheikh Jassim did his best with his bid. He's convinced his bid is very good for the future, so let's wait and see."

Bidder aims fire at Glazers
Thomas Zilliacus, formerly in the United bidding process, has blasted the Glazers' handling of the club sale.
The Finnish entrepreneur has aimed fire at the Red Devils owners, describing the saga, which he was cut from, as "farcical."
On Sunday morning, Zilliacus tweeted: "How many more months shall we read about United takeover news?
"This is already the most farcical club takeover in history. Never seen anyone so unable to make a decision. #manchesterunited #GlazersOut #UnitedWeStand #xxicenturyfootballcapital"

Neville has Ratcliffe concern
Gary Neville holds concerns over Ratcliffe's takeover bid due to the idea of the Glazers retaining a stake in the club.
The United icon wants Joel and Avram Glazer gone for good and has therefore suggested he would favour Sheikh Jassim's Qatari regime.
He said: "I'd like the Glazers to leave in full, even now with how they're dealing with the sale process, which means it's ultimately dragged out. They can't make a decision, and there are other examples of that.
"They can't deal with things that are difficult. Hopefully, we can have a full exit, but with the Ratcliffe bid, it looks like a part exit with two of them staying [Joel and Avram]. I don't like the idea of that.
"If that bid comes forward and is successful, which is the talk, I'd like to think there's a fixed exit for the Glazer brothers organised in, let's say, two years, so we know they're leaving. Ratcliffe comes in and brings in another investor to take them out."
