Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reviews the Chelsea game
Manchester United hero Paul Scholes has admitted he feels sorry for Jadon Sancho with the forward shining in Thursday night’s 4-1 Premier League win over Chelsea. The England international has blown hot and cold since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. But he now appears to have turned a corner at Old Trafford as the end of the season creeps closer.

Ten Hag praised his side after the showdown by saying: "This club belongs in the Champions League.
“It's not easy in the Premier League so a lot compete for that. It's massive when you get it done."
When asked what he wanted to see from his players, he said: "[That] we wanted to win. We showed the winning attitude.
“Chelsea have outstanding players but in the counter attacks we were really good, really dangerous.
“We scored four in the end. We should've scored more but they could score as well.

"Our defence was better second half. First half we had problems between the lines. They played without pressure, could go forward.
“You have to strike them and take advantage of the spaces you get and we didn't always. Second goal was late in the first half and could've been earlier."
United are next in action against Fulham on Sunday (4pm).
The Red Devils have already beaten the Cottagers twice this season - winning 2-1 at Craven Cottage before claiming a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford in the FA Cup back in March.
