Man Utd player ratings: David de Gea gets 1/10 as West Ham defeat ramps up top-four nerves
Manchester United suffered the latest blow to their Premier League top-four hopes with a second successive defeat at West Ham.
Ten Hag wants no easing up from Man Utd before end of season
Manchester United's grip on a top-four spot in the Premier League loosened further after suffering back-to-back defeats at West Ham United on Sunday. Said Benrahma profited from a David de Gea mistake in the first half to net what proved to be the decisive goal in a 1-0 win.
Express Sport rates Erik ten Hag's visitors after another dismal display intensified doubts over Champions League qualification.
David de Gea - 1
A month after his horror show in Seville, De Gea did his best to better it against West Ham.
Produced a horrific blunder to chalk off a positive start from United. Was as reluctant to claim crosses as usual. Ten Hag needs a new No 1 if he's to enjoy long-term success.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 6
One of the bright sparks in a woeful United performance. Had more defending to do than attacking but still created three chances.
Victor Lindelof - 5
Didn't particularly put a foot wrong but could've done more to block Benrahma's shot.
Luke Shaw - 6
Looked assured again at centre-back and won an impressive four out of five aerial duels.

Tyrell Malacia - 4
Received an early booking an offered very little going forward.
Casemiro - 4
Only won two out of six ground duels. Outclassed by Declan Rice.
Christian Eriksen - 5
Tried to make things tick with a 92 per cent pass accuracy but didn't create anything of note.
Antony - 6
United's most dangerous attacking outlet and joined Wan-Bissaka in creating three chances. Ten Hag should've kept him on.
Bruno Fernandes - 6
Was United's most creative player, as is the norm, and was unfortunate not to open the scoring early on.
Marcus Rashford - 5
Two goals in his last 10 games. United could really do with Rashford rediscovering his scoring touch in the final four games.
Wout Weghorst - 5
Started brightly but posed very little threat to West Ham's goal.

Substitutes
Anthony Martial - 2
Could've scored twice late on. Definitely should've scored once. It's no surprise United's summer priority is a striker.
Marcel Sabitzer - 4
Didn't elevate United after replacing Christian Eriksen.
Jadon Sancho - 3
Touched the ball 15 times.
Diogo Dalot - came on late
Fred - came on late
