Man City stars 'to pocket' same amount as what Ryan Reynolds paid to buy Wrexham
Man City are on course for a remarkable treble after dumping Bayern Munich out of the Champions League.
Guardiola reflects on another Champions League semi-final for Man City
Manchester City stars will reportedly earn an eye-watering £2million bonus if they complete a remarkable treble. It means that several City stars would be able to afford the 2020 takeover of National League Wrexham by Hollywood icons Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Pep Guardiola’s side hold most of the power heading into the final stretch of the Premier League season. Despite being second in the top-flight table and three points behind Arsenal, City have a game in hand over the Gunners and host them at the Etihad Stadium next week.
Win both those matches and City will surely go on to lift the trophy for the fifth time in six seasons. The club have also gone a step further to winning both the Champions League and the FA Cup.
City waltzed past Bayern Munich in their quarter-final and will face Real Madrid in the last four. Guardiola’s team will play Championship Sheffield United this weekend for a chance at reaching the FA Cup final.

Complete a rare treble of major honours and City’s players are set to reap the benefits. According to the Daily Mail, the Manchester outfit’s best players will earn an incredible £2m in bonuses should they win all three trophies this season.
It means they could have afforded the mega-money takeover of National League Wrexham by Reynolds and McElhenney in 2020 with just their bonuses alone. The Hollywood pair bought the Welsh club for £2m and are set to guide them into the Football League for the first time since 2008.
Wrexham are now just one win from earning promotion to League Two. It has been a remarkable journey under the ownership of Reynolds and McElhenney.
Reynolds said earlier this season: "Genuinely speaking, it has been the greatest experience of my entire life. This adventure has been unlike anything else. I love it because it's a project that's going to be multi-decades.
