LEE Clark has scored a hat-trick at Wembley but now he wants his Huddersfield players to book their own place on the famous stage to give them something to tell the kids.
The League One play-off semi-final, second leg against Millwall at the New Den tonight is delicately balanced following Saturday’s goalless draw. But Clark, who hit his three goals for England schoolboys in 1988, hopes the lure of the final will inspire his players to victory.
Former Newcastle midfielder Clark said: “We are on the verge of playing in the most famous stadium in world football. After your career’s over and you sit back with your kids, it is these occasions you proudly talk about.
“We just need someone to become a hero by scoring the goal that takes us there."
