Ian Holloway believes in Blackpool after they shocked Nottingham Forest last night
Boss Ian Holloway, who masterminded a 4-3 win and a 6-4 aggregate triumph, said. “We’ve got a ticket right to the end of this journey.”
Blackpool, who were in the lowest level of the game only nine years ago, are now just one game away from the £90million jackpot of Premier League football. They will meet the winners of tonight’s other semi-final second leg between Cardiff and Leicester, with Cardiff leading 1-0.
Holloway added: “That was magnificent. I would have paid to watch that it was so good from both sides. A fantastic game.”
DJ Campbell scored a hat-trick, the first of his career, but is on loan from Leicester and cannot play in the final at Wembley if Leicester reach it.
