Manchester United star Antony has been caught on video snubbing fans who wanted a picture. The Brazil international has done everything to win round supporters since his summer move from Ajax, scoring three goals so far. He’s justified Erik ten Hag’s decision to sign him in the first place, and is now one of the first names on the Dutchman’s team sheet.
Manchester United had to be patient back in the summer, waiting until the closing stages of the transfer window before finally bringing Antony in.
And the Brazil international, who arrived instead of PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo, has already made an instant impression with goals against the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton.
Antony has become instantly popular with United fans in the process, with the Samba star delivering the goods.
But a video uploaded by SportBible shows the 22-year-old turning down a couple of fans who wanted a picture with the forward, who was out shopping.
The pair become embroiled in a conversation with Antony’s security, who appear unhappy at being filmed without permission.

They ask: “How's he going to get famous if he doesn't take any pictures.”
The security guard is also asked ‘he says no, for what?’ as Antony tries to make his way away from the duo.
They insist they’re not leaving when told to go away but while the United star didn’t want his picture taken, that’s perhaps understandable.
Antony is on a shopping trip and, had the fans not whipped out their cameras to start filming him, perhaps he’d have been more inclined to accept their offer.
The incident comes just days after the United star was snapped being turned down by a restaurant in Manchester.
It appears the place was fully booked, and his status as a footballer wasn’t enough to secure him and his entourage a seat inside.
On the field, however, Antony has already endeared himself and looks likely be in the United starting XI for many years to come.
Goals against Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton have seen him become the first player to net in their first three matches for the club.
And a clip of Antony went viral after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday, with the Red Devils star screaming in Jorginho’s face following Casemiro’s late leveller.
Meanwhile, Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar has opened up on the departures of both Antony and Lisandro Martinez to United back in the summer.

“I don't think the way [Antony] handled it was the correct one, but it's important all the players who leave Ajax have success because it reflects well on us.”
And Van der Sar thinks Ten Hag is doing well at United, with the club hoping to return to the Champions League this term.
“We saw the work Erik has done when he established himself as a young coach,” he said.
“He’s relentless, he wants to achieve as much as possible. The training exercises, the way he wants to play, it is coming into a picture.”
