Mohamed Salah 'demands' Liverpool signings to sign new contract despite Jurgen Klopp claim
LIVERPOOL may have to do more tie Mohamed Salah to a new deal
Klopp thinks first-half decisions had impact on Liverpool’s draw at Spurs
Jurgen Klopp remains confident that talks with Mohamed Salah over a new Liverpool contract are progressing well, but the Egyptian may demand signings to secure an extension according to reports.
The future of Mohamed Salah continues to remain up in the air as Liverpool are still yet to tie him down to a new deal.
Salah is into the last 18 months of his Liverpool deal, and although the star has admitted that he would like to stay at the club, pen is still yet to be put to paper.
Jurgen Klopp recently revealed that ongoing talks with Salah were positive and shared that they are having "really good conversations" about a renewal.
However, in a fresh twist it may appear the Egyptian is demanding more than a pay rise to extend his deal.

Ahead of Liverpool's dramatic 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday, Klopp revealed that he is feeling positive about a new Salah deal, an emotion that the German didn't feel at the full time whistle.
Due to the fact that Salah has now publicly stated he never wants to leave Liverpool, Klopp feels as though there is no rush to get a deal done, and said: "We are in really good conversations. I want it to happen, but when? I couldn't care less."
Despite these claims, Sky transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck does not believe that it's as simple as that, and has claimed that Salah is demanding further reinforcement to commit his future to Liverpool.
Liverpool's iconic front three of Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino continues to be prolific, and Diogo Jota has added a differential in attack.

But Liverpool have been playing without a natural no.9 for some time, and although it's working currently, it's a position that they are reportedly surveying.
Behrenbeck confirmed this, as he said: "We hear that a new nine is to be fetched there in the summer."
Erling Haaland is undoubtedly the most in demand no.9 in world football, and Behrenbeck believes that there is no better candidate than to solve two problems in one hit.
Not only is the Norwegian the best man for the job in attack, it could be the perfect remedy to solve the stagnant Salah situation, with a huge statement of intent.
A statement of intent is something that Salah has already issued, and there is growing frustration amongst the Liverpool faithful that the situation hasn't been resolved.
Loyalty is something that is fading from the modern game, but Salah proved that he is an exception as he told Egyptian publication MBC Masr TV: "I said it several times, if the decision is up to me, I want to stay in Liverpool.
"But the decision is in the hands of the management and they have to solve this issue."
As with most aspects of football nowadays, it's likely the delay in proceedings is purely financial, but with Salah currently one of the best in the world, Liverpool must keep hold of their prized asset.
