Michael Carrick Refutes Suggestion Ralf Rangnick Picked Man Utd Team At Chelsea
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl believes Ralf Rangnick will make a massive impact at Manchester United. But his claims that Rangnick needs a 'good team' around him will concern some fans, given how the club has been run over the last decade.

In his pre-Leicester City press conference, Hasenhuttl suggested Rangnick could need a good team around him and more time at United, which could worry some supporters considering who he will be working with off the pitch.
He told reporters: "I know him [Rangnick] very well. He was a director there [at RB Leipzig], and I took over from him.
"I know how he is, how he works. He is a very hard worker, and he needs a good team around him, then he will turn every stone around, for sure.
"He does not want there to be a weakness in any part of his club. Six months is not long to turn it around, but he will have a huge impact at this club, for sure.

Despite those potential concerns, Hasenhuttl has revealed a Premier League move has been Rangnick's 'dream' and is backing him to thrive in England.
He added: "I sent him a message to congratulate him. He always dreamed of the Premier League; now it's real. This is fantastic of him. He was always waiting for this moment.
"I think there is a two-year consultancy role for him; I don't know the details of the contract.
"I know him well; we had two good years together. It was a big chance for him, and he's taken it. He will do a good job there."

The Saints boss also stated that Rangnick's arrival is a positive thing for the Premier League altogether.
"Absolutely. The best managers are working here, the clubs should always look for the best options. I am sure that he will have a big impact in this league," Hasenhuttl continued.
United's new interim manager could take charge for the first time when Arsenal visit Old Trafford on Thursday.
But if work permit delays prevent that, Sunday's clash with Crystal Palace will likely mark his homecoming and the start of a new era.
