Cristiano Ronaldo dragged Manchester United to a 2-2 draw against Atalanta on Tuesday as he once again stepped up in the last minute to rescue his side. However, with United's defensive frailties showing once again, Paul Scholes was quick to highlight two major worries for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men - in Harry Maguire's form and Raphael Varane's injury.
Ronaldo scored at the end of both halves to keep United top of their Champions League group and cement his status as the ultimate big-game player.
Having gone behind twice in Bergamo, the Portugal star was on the end of two superbly crafted goals to give United a valuable point in northern Italy with just two gameweeks left to play before the knockout rounds.
Yet there is a recurring theme in that Ronaldo is constantly having to bail United out in the Champions League - this being his fifth goal in four games in the competition.
United have now conceded seven goals in just four European outings, and Paul Scholes has picked out the two reasons as to why United should be worried about their recent form.

The Red Devils coped fine with Atalanta's frantic attacking style until Raphael Varane was injured - with their defence at six and sevens following his withdrawal.
United were taken aback by Atalanta's various chances in the second half, and the game should have been put out of sight before Ronaldo's injury.
And Scholes blamed captain Harry Maguire for his mistakes once the Frenchman has been substituted off, claiming he 'doesn't look right.'
"They played alright on Saturday but tonight it was messy," Scholes said on BT Sport.
"As soon as Varane went off, it went all over the place, really shaky.

"The quality in the middle of the pitch wasn't great, giving the ball away. Maguire just doesn't look right, and I don't want to say it again, but with no Varane on Saturday it has to be a worry.
"If you're Pep [Guardiola] you would think you have a good chance to win. City think that anyway, at any point it will be a difficult game.
"But with no Varane it is going to be more difficult - saying that, they have the quality to score.
"Even in the Liverpool game they produced 3 clear chances. United need to defend and concentration is key."
