Antonio Conte is on the verge of replacing Nuno Espirito Santo as Tottenham Hotspur head coach, according to reports. The Italian boss will undoubtedly whip the squad into shape, given his previous comments on demanding the respect of his players.

During his stint as Chelsea manager, Conte stressed the importance of demanding respect in the dressing room and dealing with those who fail to show the correct attitude.
He told Sky Sports: "I always talk about education and respect. I demand this, I give this, but I demand this.
"And if someone hasn't [got] a good attitude or behaviour in different circumstances, I prefer to kill [them].
"If a manager closes his eyes and doesn't want to see a bad situation, you lose the changing room.

He carries the philosophy and persona to suggest he's the right man to transform Spurs' current disarray into success.
