Guardiola tells Grealish to emulate Sterling with goal return
Raheem Sterling is considering his options ahead of the January transfer market, admitting that he's "open" to leaving Manchester City. The 26-year-old proved to be a hero for Gareth Southgate's England side at Euro 2020 but that hasn't continued at City this season.
Now a move abroard appears to be what would appeal most to Sterling, but Newcastle's project would appeal to anyone right now.
With billions behind them, the Magpies will be able to offer Sterling exactly what he wants in payment and he'll instantly become the main star in a team tipped to soar up the table in the next few years.
At 26 years of age, Sterling still has his best years ahead of him and there could be an appeal in being a trendsetter at the Premier League's sleeping giant.
Real Madrid
With Barcelona in a financial mess, Real Madrid are keen to put some space between them and their rivals.
