The 28-year-old will hope to return to the starting line-up when United visit West Ham on Sunday as they look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Despite more than earning that recall after his excellent first two starts, Varane believes there is still work to be done to improve his relationship with United’s fellow defenders.
He also hailed Red Devils skipper Maguire and stated that he is confident for the future of United’s backline.
“Yeah I think he [Harry] is a great player,” Varane told Premier League Productions.

“I think we have to work hard to feel comfortable on the pitch. Every defender in this team, we have to feel connected on the pitch and we will be better together.
“We have to move together, we have to be motivated together. We have to be moving with one another so that’s an important connection and we have to feel comfortable on the pitch.”
Varane was previously part of a fearsome defensive partnership during his time at Madrid, where he featured alongside Sergio Ramos.
