It has been a twelve-year gap between Cristiano Ronaldo leaving and rejoining Manchester United - but the winger is finally back at Old Trafford. But the 36-year-old has yet to speak in person with his new manager.
Signing in a £20million transfer from Juventus on Tuesday, Ronaldo has been heralded with shouts such as 'return of the King', given how well he did at Old Trafford in his first spell.
Winning three Premier Leagues titles, three FA Cup winner's medals and developing well enough to win a much-coveted Ballon d'Or in his six-year spell, it has always been rumoured he would return to United.
Although, arguably the sweetest part of the transfer - from a United perspective - was snatching the deal from under the noses of their arch-rivals Manchester City.
Yet, the deal has moved so quickly that it seems Ronaldo hasn't talked with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in person thus far - something the Portugal star cannot wait to do.
