Solskjaer says talks ongoing between Man Utd and Pogba over new deal
Jadon Sancho is reportedly in line to start his first game as a Manchester United player when the Red Devils travel to Wolves on Sunday. The £72million signing has had to be patient for his opportunities since arriving from Borussia Dortmund at the end of last month, following an extended break after the completion of his transfer and Euro 2020.
The 21-year-old came off the bench in United's 5-1 thrashing of leads before being introduced in the second half of proceedings at Southampton last weekend.
Competition for places is stacked at Old Trafford, particularly in attack but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under no illusions Sancho will be first-choice once settled.
United are looking to bounce back from the disappointing draw at St Mary's, a game which Solskjaer's men could have won or lost in truth.
They're on the road the weekend again when they travel to the Black Country before the international break and Wolves will be eager to get their first points on the board after 1-0 defeats to Leicester and Tottenham respectively.

In midfielder Nemanja Matic and Fred are expected to keep their place after Scott McTominay confirmed he's undergone minor surgery.
The Scotsman came off the bench during the visit to the South Coast but in a statement on his Instagram, confirmed he will miss this weekend's match.
He said: "Just to let you all know I've had minor surgery on an issue which has needed managing for the last couple of months.
"I hate missing games so to be missing Wolves on the weekend and the international break is so disappointing but that's part and parcel of the game.
"Wishing all the boys the best of luck and I will be back sooner than you think."

Edinson Cavani is also expected to be named on the bench.
He was eased in following his arrival on a free transfer from PSG last summer and Solskjaer is under no illusions that Sancho may need time to adapt, too.
"I think Dortmund have shown so many times what they can do for young talent and in the Bundesliga what that can do. The Premier League is a different animal though," Solskjaer said.
"I don’t want to sound disrespectful to the Bundesliga, but I think the Premier League is a step up. We’ve seen that in the last few years in the Premier League, and the teams that have got to finals in Europe and won them, it’s shown it’s the place to be and that’s where Jadon wanted to be.
"He’s been in England of course, at Watford and over on the other side of the city as well, so he knows what’s expected from him.”
