Man Utd star Paul Pogba facing transfer dilemma as PSG ‘willing to make £27m salary offer'
Paul Pogba will be out of contract at Manchester United next summer.
Paul Pogba: Sell or keep?
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could be offered an eye-watering salary of around £27million per year by Paris Saint-Germain next summer, according to reports. The 28-year-old has entered into the final year of his current deal with the Red Devils and is yet to agree fresh terms, with talks said to be ongoing.
Pogba has been linked with a move to PSG since the beginning of the summer transfer window amid the uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford.
He became United's record signing upon rejoining the club from Juventus back in 2016 but will leave on a free transfer at the end of the season as things stand.
The Frenchman has played exactly 200 games for the 20-time Premier League champions since leaving Italy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on retaining his services beyond the end of the current campaign.
However, United's lack of progress over a new deal suggests that a move elsewhere could soon be on the cards.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been tipped to land Pogba in recent weeks, but it seems as though PSG could be his most likely destination.

The Ligue 1 heavyweights, who recently signed Lionel Messi on a two-year contract after the mercurial forward's shock exit from Barcelona, are prepared to offer Pogba a yearly wage packet of £27m, according to the Irish Independent.
Such a move would bring the midfielder in line with football's highest earners at around £600,000 per week.
PSG are not expected to mount an approach for Pogba before this month's deadline after landing Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum on free transfers earlier in the window.
Their strategy is believed to revolve around the signings of high-profile players at the end of their existing contracts, allowing the club to offer significantly higher wages than their rivals in the absence of a transfer fee.
Messi will pick up around £960,000 per week in the French capital over the next two years, while his attacking team-mate Neymar is said to be on £606,000 per week.
It is said that PSG are keen to launch a move for Pogba next summer, with the midfielder planning to snub the offer of a new deal at United.
However, he would reportedly prefer to join Real Madrid or Barcelona, suggesting that PSG will not be his priority option.
Although Pogba would jump at the chance to sign for either of the El Clasico giants next summer, their ongoing financial problems could pose issues with regards to securing his services.
PSG's tendency to spend big on wages could swing proceedings in their favour, with Wijnaldum accepting a highly lucrative offer to join the club despite agreeing a deal with Barcelona earlier this summer.
The Dutchman will reportedly earn three times as much in France as he would have done in Spain, with his capture suggesting that Pogba could take a similar path if he is faced with the same choice in a year's time.
Meanwhile, United boss Solskjaer recently claimed that Pogba is yet to express a desire to leave the club, admitting that he would like to keep hold of the midfielder for the foreseeable future.
"All that I've ever heard with Paul is he's looking forward to the season," said the 48-year-old.
