Guardiola remains tight-lipped on possible Harry Kane transfer
Harry Kane will complete his move to Manchester City this week to give Tottenham time to sign a replacement, reckons Spurs legend Glenn Hoddle. Kane was absent from the Spurs squad for the 1-0 win over City on Sunday. The 28-year-old still wants to leave Tottenham after telling the club of his wish to do so earlier this year.

"Last season we saw the assists that he got as well where he dropped into midfield.
"Now, I think Pep [Guardiola] will have him playing that way at times and there'll be other games where I think he will be right on the shoulder playing as a No 9.
"So the thing is with Harry, you're getting those two positions.
"He's like two players in one. So Pep knows that and that's why I think the deal will be done [this] week."

Spurs have been linked with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Lautaro Martinez as potential replacements for Kane.
Hoddle expects Kane's departure soon in order to give Spurs time to fill the void left by their talisman.
"They need a replacement," he added.
"The good thing is they need the money to come in for Harry Kane so they can then go and replace him.
"None of this going to the wire, one day before the transfer market ends and then Nuno can't then go and buy somebody and put him into the team. So that's important as well."

Tottenham boss Nuno refused to comment on Kane's future when speaking to Sky Sports after Sunday's win over City.
"We are very lucky to have him," Nuno said.
"Harry Kane is one of the best players in the world, honestly.
"He has to get ready and help the team. We still have to go to Portugal then we think about Wolves.
"Harry worked this morning [Sunday]. He is preparing himself and when he is ready he will join the group and help the team."
