Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes that Aubameyang and Lacazette's absence could actually benefit Arsenal against Brentford.
"I think the most excited I was when I watched Arsenal last year was when the three Brazilians and Martinelli came in," Neville explained.
"I feel more optimistic seeing that team [without key players]; the energy Brentford and this crowd has will need to be matched.
"We know that Aubameyang and Lacazette are world-class players, but their work without the ball isn't as good as it should be.
"I'm optimistic about Arsenal. I feel more excited about the fact that [Aubameyang and Lacazette] are not playing because I've seen them before, as good as they are."
