Man Utd: The first six fixtures of the new Premier League season
Manchester United, as things stand, are unlikely to make any more major signings. After blowing the bulk of their transfer budget on Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, the Red Devils are lacking funds. So one way around that could be by swooping for free agents.

While United have strengthened at centre-back, Axel Tuanzebe’s loan move to Aston Villa means they’re a tad short in his position.
And things could get worse if Eric Bailly presses to leave, too, with the Ivory Coast international set to struggle for regular action following Varane’s move.
So, with that being the case, Jerome Boateng would be worth a punt.
Recently released after a glittering time at Bayern Munich, the Germany international could still have plenty to offer when it comes to experience and nous.
And with this United team being relatively young, Boateng is certainly a player worth considering.
While we’re on the subject of United’s defence, that brings us to David Luiz.
Personality-wise, the Brazil international has one of the best in football. A fun and bubbly character, he’s also a leader.
And again, with this Red Devils team still in a transitional process, Luiz on a free transfer would make some sense.
He’s previously played for Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League, while also enjoying a successful spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
And Luiz, despite being an old enemy, is another Murtough should weigh up swooping for should Bailly go.
