Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has decided to undergo shoulder surgery which will keep him out until October. The England international is set to miss the first few games of the season, prompting him to release a heartfelt statement to United fans on his decision to hold off on the treatment until after Euro 2020.

Thankfully for United, Rashford’s injury layoff has come at a convenient time given the signing of winger Jadon Sancho.
The club are particularly well-stocked in attack, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Daniel James all set to be vying for minutes in Rashford’s absence.
