Man City: Guardiola left to rue what might have been
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will have wanted to play any other team than Chelsea in the Champions League final, claims Michael Owen. City and Chelsea are set to go head-to-head in Istanbul in just under three weeks' time following their respective progression through the semi-final stage last week.

Owen has no doubts City are the best team in Europe but believes Guardiola would have rather faced any side but Chelsea in the final.
Owen told Premier League Productions: "Do you know what? I think Man City are the best team, probably the best club team in the world at the moment. Best team in Europe.
"But the problem is, sometimes you meet teams that are just very, very difficult and they just don't suit you.
"And I think this Chelsea team are the most difficult team to play against at the moment.

"We have 21 days [before the final]," Guardiola told reporters.
"We will see what happens in the final. It’s a different competition, we are going to try to play this game, we will analyse and play the final, which is a dream come true for us.
"Chelsea have been there many times, it's the first time we will be there.
"We are going to approach it in the best way possible."
