Man Utd 'frontrunners' in Jadon Sancho transfer as club still keen on Dortmund star
Man United are reportedly still leading the pack in terms of Jadon Sancho's potential suitors, with the talented winger capturing the eye of a number of Europe's clubs
Man Utd: Solskjaer thrilled to reach Europa League final
Manchester United have long been reportedly keen on luring Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford, though have balked at the German sides asking price when makingpreviousapproaches.
However, United may deem another attempt at securing the 21-year-old's signature as worthwhile, given their need for a world class attacking wide-player.
Sancho has endured a season of mixed fortunes at SignalIdunaPark, notching an impressive 30 goal contributions in 34 games across all competitions, but he also suffered more than a month on the side-lines after sustaining a serious muscle injury.
The winger’s talent is indisputable, and the Old Trafford faithful will revel at the thought of the former Manchester City youth prospect donning a United shirt next season as Ole GunnarSolskjaer’sside aim to mount a serious title tilt.
The Athletics' David Ornstein has given a reason for United fans to harbour some optimism, after he revealed it is a transfer they could try and make in the summer window.

He revealed: “It is starting to look like Haaland might stay at Borussia Dortmund. Jadon Sancho can be got – if Manchester United want to pay the money.
“There is interest there, we know about it – that interest has not gone away. I think at points off this season, in the build-up to the window, United’s priorities have moved towards striker and centre half, cover at full-back for example.
“But that can change at any moment, and if they want to do the Sancho deal it’s there to be done and I still think they would be front-runners if they do want to do that.”
