How Chelsea could line up with Romelu Lukaku transfer and two other signings
Chelsea want to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Chelsea reportedly want to sign Romelu Lukaku if they miss out on Erling Haaland this summer. The Belgium international has been in sensational form this season, scoring 19 goals and registering eight assists from 26 Serie A matches for Inter Milan. And a move to Stamford Bridge could be on the cards.
Chelsea signed Lukaku from Anderlecht back in the summer transfer window of 2011.
However, the 27-year-old never lived up to expectations at Stamford Bridge and, after loan moves to West Brom and Everton, was then sold.
Lukaku rebuilt his career at Goodison Park and Chelsea wanted him as a replacement for Diego Costa in 2018.
Yet they missed out on that occasion, with Manchester United swooping to bring the Belgian to Old Trafford instead.
Chelsea are now hoping to re-sign Lukaku if they miss out on Haaland, who is looking likely to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.
So Express Sport will now take a look at how the Blues could line up if they bring the Inter Milan star back to the capital, as well as signing Gianluigi Donnarumma and David Alaba.

Gianluigi Donnarumma
Chelsea want to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer.
That’s despite Edouard Mendy looking solid enough between the sticks and Kepa Arrizabalaga improving under Thomas Tuchel.
Donnarumma is poised to become a free agent at the end of the campaign.
And the Italy international, who already has 250 senior appearances under his belt at the age of 22, would be a good addition to the side.
If signed, he’d expect to be a regular starter - having been used to first-team football during his five years at senior level.

David Alaba
Chelsea are also still in the hunt for David Alaba.
The Bayern Munich star confirmed he’d be leaving the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, saying in January: "I made the decision to do something new after this season and leave the club.
"That wasn't an easy decision. I've been here for 13 years and the club is very close to my heart.
"It's no secret that my management is in contact with some clubs. The rest will be decided in the future.”
If Chelsea sign Alaba they could play him in a back three, with Tuchel favouring that system during his reign as manager so far.
Romelu Lukaku
If Chelsea signed Lukaku again, he’d walk into the team as their main striker.
And he could be supplemented with Timo Werner and Callum Hudson-Odoi in attack, with both players poised to stay at the club.
Lukaku would return to Stamford Bridge a completely different player to the one who left.
And Inter may have to sell because of the coronavirus crisis, with the Serie A giants currently struck by the pandemic.
Their loss would be Chelsea’s gain - but whether this deal happens remains to be seen.
